It happens once a year and its 25 gabillion times better than the Oscars; it’s the Met Gala. This year spared no excess in feathers, high volume, sparkle and drama as those invited were able to honor and preview the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition.
From Naomi Campbell’s dramatic Alexander McQueen feathered gown to Anna Dello Russo’s egg that sat atop her head, there were plenty to ogle at. Celebs like SJP and Karen Elson opted to pay homage to McQueen in archived numbers, while Rihanna, Gwyneth and Madonna chose to rock Stella McCartney – who had a record 16 looks at the gala.
